Early Life and Background

Dylan Thomas Sprouse was born on August 4, 1992, in Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy, to American parents Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright, who were teaching English in Italy at the time. He is the elder twin brother of Cole Sprouse by 15 minutes. At four months old, the family relocated to Long Beach, California, where Dylan and Cole were raised. Dylan was named after the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas .

Acting Career

Dylan's acting career commenced at the tender age of eight months when he and Cole shared the role of Patrick Kelly on the ABC series "Grace Under Fire" (1993–1998). Their breakout film role came in 1999, portraying Julian in "Big Daddy" alongside Adam Sandler. The twins continued to act together in various projects, including "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" (2005–2008) and its spin-off "The Suite Life on Deck" (2008–2011), where Dylan played Zack Martin .

After a brief hiatus to focus on education, Dylan returned to acting with roles in films such as "Dismissed" (2017), "Banana Split" (2018), and "After We Collided" (2020). He also starred in "My Fake Boyfriend" (2022) and "Beautiful Disaster" (2023) .
